Man strength training with dumbbells during a medical weight loss program

MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS

Lose the Fat.
Keep the Muscle.

A Provider-led, medically supervised weight loss program for men in Western New York who are ready to do the work. This isn’t the easy button, and that’s exactly why it works.

Every patient starts with a free Discovery Call. Screening required.

LET’S BE HONEST

This Program Isn’t for Everyone.

Weight loss medications are powerful tools, but they’re only tools. The men who succeed are the ones who change how they eat, train, and live. That’s why I’m selective about who I accept, and why every patient is screened before treatment is ever discussed.

You’re a good fit if you…

Are ready to change how you eat and move

Will work with a Dietitian

Can commit to monthly visits with your Provider

Want to lose fat, not muscle

Understand medication is one part of the plan

This isn’t for you if you…

Just want a prescription

Aren’t willing to see a Dietitian

Aren’t willing to exercise regularly

Can’t commit to monthly follow-ups

Don’t want your progress tracked

Are looking for a quick fix

THE PROBLEM

The Easy Button Has a Hidden Cost.

Too many programs hand out weight loss prescriptions with little screening and even less follow-up. Without the right nutrition, strength training, and monitoring, a significant share of the weight lost can come from muscle, and bone health can suffer too. The result can be sarcopenic obesity: a smaller, weaker body that still carries too much fat.

THE EASY BUTTON

Prescription-Only Programs

Quick online questionnaire

Brief visit, or none at all

The scale is the only measure

FAQ

Medical Weight Loss Questions.

Can I just get a prescription?

No. Medication is only considered after screening, a full in-person consultation and exam, body composition testing, and labs as indicated. If you’re looking for a prescription without the work, this program isn’t for you.

Do you prescribe GLP-1/GIP medications?

GLP-1/GIP medications may be part of a treatment plan when they’re medically appropriate. Specific options, and whether any are right for you, are discussed during your consultation after your evaluation is complete.

Why is a Dietitian required?

Medication can reduce appetite, but it doesn’t teach you what or how to eat. Eating enough protein and the right foods is critical for keeping muscle while you lose fat, and for keeping the weight off long term. That’s why a Dietitian referral is mandatory.

Will I lose muscle?

Without the right plan, a meaningful share of the weight lost can come from muscle. Your nutrition plan, strength training, and body composition checks every 3 months are designed to protect your muscle while you lose fat.

Why track body composition instead of just weight?

The scale can’t tell fat from muscle. Body composition testing by DEXA or InBody shows what you’re actually losing, so your plan can be adjusted before muscle loss becomes a problem.

Do I have to come to the office every month?

Your first visit is a 60-minute in-person consultation. After that, your required monthly visits are done by telehealth.

Who isn’t a candidate?

Candidacy is based on your overall health, BMI, body measurements like waist-to-hip and waist-to-height ratios, other medical conditions, and your readiness to commit. Some medications also have contraindications, which are reviewed in detail during your consultation.

How much does it cost?

Medical weight loss patients are enrolled in the Platinum Membership, which covers your Provider visits, counseling, and monitoring. Medications are priced separately and reviewed at your consultation. Dietitian visits are billed through your health insurance or paid out of pocket. Platinum members who complete an InBody scan every 3 months and submit their results through our secure platform get a $25 credit toward future pharmacy orders. See full pricing.

Important: Prescribing weight loss medication at TitanX Men’s Health is never automatic or guaranteed. Medication is considered only after a rigorous evaluation that includes candidacy screening, a comprehensive in-person clinical exam, review of medical history, current medications, and contraindications, body composition testing, and labs as clinically indicated, and only when your Provider determines it is medically appropriate. Medication is one part of a comprehensive program that includes nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Continued treatment requires adherence to program requirements, including monthly follow-up visits. Individual results vary. This page is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice.
