Preprocedural Instructions

Schedule your neurotoxin treatment at least 3–4 weeks prior to any significant social engagements to ensure optimal results.


Please reschedule your appointment if you develop a rash, cold sore, infection, or blemish in the treatment area.


Inform TitanX Men’s Health if you are currently taking any prescribed antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications.


Discontinue the use of the following substances at least one week before your appointment, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider: aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, gingko biloba, ginseng, garlic, ginger, CoQ10, and fish oil/omega-3 supplements.


Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.


Limit sun exposure during the week leading up to your treatment.


Avoid the use of topical retinoid treatments (such as tretinoin, adapalene, or tazarotene) for 2–3 days before your appointment.


TitanX Men’s Health advises leaving a minimum two-week interval between your neurotoxin appointment and any other cosmetic procedures.


Postprocedural Instructions

Move the effected facial muscles as much as possible following the procedure.

Refrain from touching, itching, scratching or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours.

Remain upright, don’t lay down or bend over for six hours.

Don’t perform any activities that involve straining, heavy lifting or exercise for the remainder of the day following the procedure.

Avoid heat (spa, hot tub, sauna, tanning) for 24 hours.

Sleep elevated on an extra pillow the first night following the procedure.

Keep the treatment areas clean. If possible, refrain from make up or cover ups for the remainder of the day.

Refrain from using the following substances for 48 hours following your procedure, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider: aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, gingko biloba, ginseng, garlic, ginger, CoQ10, and fish oil/omega-3 supplements and topical retinoid treatments.

Avoid wearing hats or headbands for 24 hours if you received treatment for the forehead area.

Ice can be applied for 3-5 minutes every half hour as needed for pain and/or swelling.

If there are no allergies or contraindications, take acetaminophen if a headache develops.

Contact TitanX Men’s Health immediately if any pain, swelling, blistering or drainage at the treatment site(s).

Neurotoxin Onset and Duration

  • The onset of action typically begins within 2 to 4 days, depending on the specific neurotoxin used.
  • Full muscle relaxation usually occurs in 10-14 days.
  • The effects generally last between 3 to 4 months. However, individual results may vary due to a range of factors, including dosage, metabolism, lifestyle, and treatment area.

Dosing & Treatment Adjustments

  • Adjustment treatments cannot be performed earlier than 14 days following the initial procedure.
  • Please note that if additional dosing is required, an additional fee will apply.
